Georgia State Games

On behalf of the Georgia Games, I would like to invite you to participate in the 19th annual championship game, which will be held throughout the Atlanta area. The Georgia Games is affiliated with the Georgia Sports Foundation, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to developing, promoting, educating and encouraging sports, physical fitness and health for the benefit of all Georgians.

We encourage you to participate in our Badminton Competition this summer, which will be held July 12 at Ramsey Student Center for Physical Activities, University of Georgia.

Attached in this email is copy of this year’s entry form and information regarding the event. We will also be featuring a link on our website that will allow individuals to register online a discounted rate. Badminton RTP to Host Danish Olympic Coach

shuttle_cock4Badminton RTP is hosting a top Danish Olympic Coach, Dennis Christensen and 7-8 of his students (many ranked in Europe) from July 4-14.
Dennis has been here before and anyone who has taken his clinics will tell you he is awesome

Four 75 minute clinics are being offered on the following dates and times:

  • Sunday July 6, 1-2:15 PM (open to all) and 2;45-4 PM (competitive players
  • Sunday July 12 same times with each clinic open to all

Cost is $15 per clinic and this includes entrance to Peak Fitness in Durham.

4 students per court and when you add in the students this gives you a teacher student ratio of 1 to 2. After May 1, the clinics are open to all (even UNC).

If you are interested, mail a check for $15 per clinic (some folks are taking 2 or more) to:
